Feb 2010 - ASHBROOK HAS HIS HEYDAY!

(Portland, OR)  February 8, 2010  Stephen Ashbrook and Heyday Media Group established a publishing administration deal for distribution of Ashbrook's entire catalog. Ashbrook, a veteran of the music industry for over 20 years, now has an agreement with Heyday Media Group for publishing all material for commercial use. Heyday adds another quality artist to their catalog.

Ashbrook, who recently signed with Hello Booking for touring, is adding Heyday to his team. “I'm excited to be working with Heyday. The world of licensing and publishing can be tricky to navigate. I'm glad to have them in my corner.”

May 2009 - Hello! Nov 2008 - Stephen Ashbrook signs licensing agreement with MTV - Independent recording artist Stephen Ashbrook has signed a licensing agreement with MTV, allowing the network to use music from his two most recent releases White Balloons, and American B Sides for its television programming.

White Balloons, Ashbrook’s most recent recording has been gaining momentum and has been met with great critical support from both local and national media.  The Portland (ORE) Tribune called it "a masterpiece," while the nationally syndicated radio program "The Adam Carolla Show" has been regularly playing tracks from White Balloons.  Ashbrook, who has garnered a large fan base primarily in the western United States mostly by constant touring and grass roots promotion, was initially contacted by MTV in November.  "I just had to let the music do the talking,” he said.  “It appears to be shouting."

Dec 2002 - The movie Now You Know – Ashbrook's songs Scotch and a Handgun and Good Friend, from his debut solo album American B Sides, were placed in the movie Now You Know, by Jeff Anderson.
